Problem Statement

Hospital administrators struggle to efficiently manage appointments, staff, patient information, and departments, leading to operational issues. Additionally, the lack of a central support system makes it hard to address problems reported by patients and staff. These challenges result in poor resource use and communication within the hospital.

Solution

Health Capital solves these problems by offering a user-friendly web application that centralizes administrative tasks, simplifies appointment and staff management, and provides clear oversight of patients and departments. Its built-in support system ensures quick resolution of reported issues, improving overall efficiency and communication within the hospital.

Outcome

Approach

As a product designer for Health Capital, my approach was centered around creating a user-friendly, efficient, and comprehensive web application tailored to the needs of hospital administrators, medical staff, patients, and IT support staff. Here’s a detailed outline of my design approach:

  • Mapped user journeys to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
